College Coach for 12th Grade
College Admissions Coach for 12th Grade Students
WE CAN PROUDLY SAY THAT WE CUSTOMIZE OUR PLANS TO THE SPECIFIC NEEDS OF EACH OF OUR SCHOLARS!
HOW CAN OUR COLLEGE ADMISSIONS COACHES HELP 12TH GRADERS?
Your senior year means it’s time to define those final college-related decisions. It can be a stressful year, but if you have a strict college planning timeline in place, your next steps are already mapped out, and this should help relieve the pressure. However, don’t despair if you’re a bit behind with planning or you have never worked with a college coach before. We can help out. There are students who start their pre-college planning early, but there are also others who manage to get into their choice schools with less. Nevertheless, it is best to start early, if you want to face the college admissions exams and interviews with confidence and poise.
Our counselors are professors and former college admissions officers ready to take you to the finish line and help you improve your college applications. We will review your current plan, achievements, and strategy, and suggest new activities and tactics to increase your chances of getting into selective colleges. 12th graders who collaborate with a Morzep college admissions coach will learn to:
- Finalize their college list based on their preferences, academic program, and academic goals
- Select college majors according to their curriculum preferences and career ambitions
- Follow every step of the college application required for their selected colleges
- Establish the best strategy for college visits
- Write their personal statement to highlight their achievements and ambitions, but also to resonate with the college’s mission, vision, and goals – with the guidance of their Morzep college admissions consultant
- Request their high school to send their transcripts to their colleges of choice
- Contact and ask teachers for recommendation letters
- Write their college essays and edit them according to the reviews, edits, and feedback of their college coach
- Prepare for college admissions interviews through mock interviews
- Collect the required documents for financial aid
- Improve their standardized test scores (as late as early December of their senior year)
- Submit their college applications
- Set up their waitlist strategy
- Make a decision and select their college
HOW DOES THE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS COUNSELING PROCESS LOOK LIKE FOR 12TH GRADERS?
The college admissions coaching process for 12th graders is based on the same principles that guide our work with students from all the other grades: open communication, 24/7 availability via email or text messages, structured one-on-one sessions, and parent check-ins. We know the college application process is not an easy journey, but we are here to help you conquer every milestone and come out the other side victorious.
Our college coaches provide personalized advice for every student that asks for their help. They evaluate the student’s academic background, preferences, and aptitudes, and make recommendations accordingly. We help them establish a realistic college list that resonates with their ambitions and is a good fit considering their academic achievements, talents, financial situation, and personality. Our college counselors help students choose their extra-curricular activities based on what a college admissions officer expects from their candidates, as well as the student’s passions and interests.
